How To Install Chipset Drivers For Motherboard
Have an ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe motherboard running with an AMD Opteron 180 dual core CPU chip and the new ASUS GTX 750Ti dual fan graphics board, and should properly update the chipset first then BIOS?
Currently running on: BIOS revision 1016 and Nvidia chipset version 6.00PG. Have downloaded the last available BIOS of 1805 & 1409 to test out and my TugZip de compresses them for loading up on a floppy but how do you get the chipset version 6.65 loaded up?
Never loaded up chipsets before and of course my TugZip software just turns it into 30,069 KB Adobe file that cannot be opened? The main question is how do you un zip the chipset file and presumably you then load it into the pc via the floppy drive and it finds the correct place to install it with Version 6.65. Anybody who knows how this can be done effectively as ASUS years ago stated that the chipset on nForce 4 SLI should be updated before going up to a higher BIOS version.
